AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for "A Friend For Life" registration
3 plate.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes
7 is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 1361. A Friend For Life plate.
9 The department shall design a registration plate which
10 utilizes the slogan "A Friend For Life" in its design. Upon
11 application of any person, accompanied by a fee of $35 which
12 shall be in addition to the annual registration fee, the
13 department shall issue the plate for a passenger car, motor
14 home, trailer or truck with a registered gross weight of not
15 more than 9,000 pounds. Fifteen dollars of each additional fee
16 for this plate shall be distributed to nonprofit adoption
17 agencies that do not promote abortion as an alternative.
1 Section 2. This act shall take effect in six months.
