AN ACT
1 Authorizing and directing the Governor to appoint a site
2 selection committee to locate a site suitable for the
3 placement of a State veterans home in Schuylkill County.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Short title.
7 This act shall be known and may be cited as the Schuylkill
8 Veterans Home Site Selection Committee Act.
9 Section 2. Site selection committee.
10 (a) Appointment.--The Governor is hereby authorized and
11 directed to appoint a site selection committee to locate a site
12 suitable for the placement of a State veterans home.
13 (b) Membership.--The site selection committee shall be
14 composed of at least three persons but not more than five
15 persons who are residents of Schuylkill County.
16 (c) Report.--The site selection committee shall locate at
17 least one site suitable for the placement of a State veterans
1 home and shall issue a report outlining the pertinent
2 considerations to the Governor no later than 90 days after the
3 committee was appointed.
4 Section 10. Effective date.
5 This act shall take effect immediately.
