                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of December 22, 1983 (P.L.306, No.84), entitled
     2     "An act providing for the State Board of Vehicle
     3     Manufacturers, Dealers and Salespersons; and providing
     4     penalties," further providing for mobile home parks.

     5     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     6  hereby enacts as follows:
     7     Section 1.  Section 5(b) of the act of December 22, 1983
     8  (P.L.306, No.84), known as the Board of Vehicles Act, is amended
     9  to read:
    10  Section 5.  License to engage in business.

    12     (b)  Mobile home parks.--
    13         (1)  It shall be unlawful for any person, for a
    14     commission, compensation or other consideration, to sell or
    15     act as salesperson, broker or sales agent in connection with
    16     the sale of one or more mobile homes located in a mobile home
    17     park, as provided for in section 11 of the act of November

     1     24, 1976 (P.L.1176, No.261), known as the Mobile Home Park
     2     Rights Act, unless such person shall be licensed under this
     3     act[.] except as provided for in subsection (b)(2).
     4         (2)  Any real estate agent or broker licensed under the
     5     act of February 19, 1980 (P.L.15, No.9), known as the Real
     6     Estate Licensing and Registration Act, may list for sale, any
     7     owner-occupied mobile home as defined by the act of November
     8     24, 1976 (P.L.1176, No.261), known as the Mobile Home Park
     9     Rights Act, whether or not the mobile home is located in a
    10     mobile home park, without being licensed under the provisions
    11     of this act.

    13     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
