AN ACT
Amending Title 65 (Public Officers) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, providing for use of government
property.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Title 65 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes is amended by adding a part to read:

§ 2101. Definitions.
The following words and phrases when used in this chapter

shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
context clearly indicates otherwise:
"Political subdivision." A county, city, borough,
incorporated town, township, school district, vocational school
or county institution district, and an authority, entity or body
organized by a county, city, borough, incorporated town,
township, school district, vocational school or county
institution district.
"Public employee." An individual employed by the
Commonwealth or a political subdivision.
"Public official." A person elected by the public or elected
or appointed by a governmental body or an appointed official in
the executive, legislative or judicial branch of this
Commonwealth or a political subdivision thereof.
§ 2102. Proof of valid driver's license required.
A public official or public employee who operates a
government vehicle shall annually provide proof to the
respective governmental body or employer responsible for the
vehicle that the public official or public employee holds a
valid driver's license under the provisions of 75 Pa.C.S. Ch. 15
(relating to licensing of drivers).
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
