        INTRODUCED AS NONCONTROVERSIAL RESOLUTION UNDER RULE 35,
           JUNE 26, 2002

                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Congratulating the Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association
     2     on the 30th anniversary of the Penn Allied Nursery Trade Show
     3     and recognizing the week of July 21 through 27, 2002, as
     4     "Pennsylvania Landscape and Nursery Week."

     5     WHEREAS, In 1973 the Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery
     6  Association held the first Penn Allied Nursery Trade Show to
     7  showcase Pennsylvania's horticultural products and businesses;
     8  and
     9     WHEREAS, The show has grown from 88 exhibitors at the first
    10  show to more than 600 exhibitors in 2002; and
    11     WHEREAS, The Penn Allied Nursery Trade Show is consistently
    12  recognized as one of the largest horticultural trade shows in

     1  the United States; and
     2     WHEREAS, The Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association has
     3  represented the landscape and nursery industry for 98 years and
     4  continues to advance the interests of the Pennsylvania
     5  horticulture industry; therefore be it
     6     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives congratulate the
     7  Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association on the 30th
     8  anniversary of the Penn Allied Nursery Trade Show; and be it
     9  further
    10     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize the
    11  week of July 21 through 27, 2002, as "Pennsylvania Landscape and
    12  Nursery Week."
