| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) of the Pennsylvania |
2 | Consolidated Statutes, in optional affordable housing |
3 | funding, further providing for affordable housing programs |
4 | fee in cities of first class. |
5 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
6 | hereby enacts as follows: |
7 | Section 1. Section 6021(b) of Title 53 of the Pennsylvania |
8 | Consolidated Statutes is amended to read: |
9 | § 6021. Affordable housing programs fee in cities of first |
10 | class. |

12 | (b) Limitation.--The fee levied by a governing body of a |
13 | city of the first class under subsection (a) shall not exceed |
14 | 100% of the amounts charged by a city of the first class for |
15 | recording deeds and mortgages and other related documents [on |
16 | January 31, 2005]. |

18 | Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
