A RESOLUTION
Recognizing the Carbon Career and Technical Institute for its
success in receiving the highest score from among all career
and technical schools in this Commonwealth on the
Pennsylvania School Performance Profile for the second
consecutive year.
WHEREAS, There are 18 comprehensive career and technical
schools in this Commonwealth; and
WHEREAS, The career and technical schools are annually
evaluated by the Department of Education of the Commonwealth for
academic progress through the Pennsylvania School Performance
Profile; and
WHEREAS, Recently the Department of Education released the
Pennsylvania School Performance Profile for career and technical
schools as to the 2014-2015 school year; and
WHEREAS, For that school year, the Carbon Career and
Technical Institute received on the Pennsylvania School
Performance Profile an academic score of 88.4, which was a

significant increase from 79.2 during the prior year; and
WHEREAS, For the second consecutive year, the academic score
received by the Carbon Career and Technical Institute on the
Pennsylvania School Performance Profile was the highest academic
score of any other career and technical school in this
Commonwealth; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize the
Carbon Career and Technical Institute for its success in
receiving on the Pennsylvania School Performance Profile, for
the second consecutive year, the highest score from among all
career and technical schools in this Commonwealth.
