        REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON JUDICIARY, MARCH 7, 1989

                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, prohibiting the display of obscene
     3     material on motor vehicles.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     7  Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
     8  § 5905.  Obscene material displayed on motor vehicles.
     9     A person commits a misdemeanor of the second degree if he
    10  knowingly displays any obscene material, as defined in section
    11  5903 (relating to obscene and other sexual materials), on any
    12  sticker, decal, emblem or other device attached to a motor
    13  vehicle.
    14     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
