                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Extending the time period for a report by a task force
     2     established by the Joint State Government Commission to study
     3     issues relating to the quality of education and the increased
     4     employment of part-time faculty at the Commonwealth's
     5     institutions of higher education.

     6     WHEREAS, On December 5, 2001, the House of Representatives
     7  adopted House Resolution No. 376, Printer's No. 3002, which
     8  established a task force to study issues relating to the quality
     9  of education and the increased employment of part-time faculty
    10  at the Commonwealth's institutions of higher education and to
    11  report to the House of Representatives on its study by October
    12  1, 2002; and
    13     WHEREAS, More time is needed for the task force to properly
    14  complete the report; therefore be it
    15     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives extend until
    16  October 1, 2003, the due date for the report by the task force
    17  under House Resolution No. 376, Printer's No. 3002; and be it
    18  further
    19     RESOLVED, That the members currently serving on the task

     1  force continue to serve in that capacity.
