        REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON LOCAL GOVERNMENT, MARCH 9, 1999

                                     AN ACT

     1  Repealing the act of September 28, 1965 (P.L.543, No.282),
     2     entitled "An act authorizing incorporated towns to adopt and
     3     enforce zoning ordinances regulating the location,
     4     construction, and use of buildings, the size of courts and
     5     open spaces, the density of population, and the use of land."

     6     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     7  hereby enacts as follows:
     8     Section 1.  The act of September 28, 1965 (P.L.543, No.282),
     9  entitled "An act authorizing incorporated towns to adopt and
    10  enforce zoning ordinances regulating the location, construction,
    11  and use of buildings, the size of courts and open spaces, the
    12  density of population, and the use of land," is repealed.
    13     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
