A RESOLUTION
Recognizing the week of April 10 through 16, 2016, as the "Week
of the Young Child" in Pennsylvania.
WHEREAS, The United Way of York County and the York Area
Association for the Eduction of Young Children and other local
organizations, in conjunction with the National Association for
the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), are celebrating the
"Week of the Young Child," April 10 through 16, 2016; and
WHEREAS, These organizations are working to improve early
learning opportunities that are crucial to the growth and
development of young children and to building better futures for
everyone in York County and for others in this Commonwealth and
throughout the United States; and
WHEREAS, The "Week of the Young Child" is an annual
celebration sponsored by NAEYC celebrating early learning, young
children, their teachers and families; and
