                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Supporting small business insurance.

     2     WHEREAS, Small business is the life blood of the economy; and
     3     WHEREAS, In the 2004 economy, major early retirements,
     4  layoffs and other work separations are on the rise; and
     5     WHEREAS, Many of the persons separated from work in the
     6  corporate sector will find difficulty in the short-term
     7  reconnecting and will use their skills to start small
     8  businesses; and
     9     WHEREAS, Small businesses suffer extreme difficulty in making
    10  insurance available to their employees; therefore be it
    11     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives encourage support
    12  of legislation that offers incentives to small businesses to
    13  offer health insurance to employees.
