AN ACT 1 Providing for the capital budget for the fiscal year 2005-2006. 2 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 3 hereby enacts as follows: 4 Section 1. Short title and construction. 5 (a) Short title.--This act shall be known and may be cited 6 as the Capital Budget Act of 2005-2006. 7 (b) Supplements.--A reference to this act shall be deemed to 8 include a reference to the supplements to this act. 9 (c) Capital Facilities Debt Enabling Act.--The provisions 10 and definitions of Chapter 3 of the act of February 9, 1999 11 (P.L.1, No.1), known as The Capital Facilities Debt Enabling 12 Act, shall apply to this act to the extent they are not 13 inconsistent with this act. 14 Section 2. Overall limitations on debt to be incurred for 15 capital projects. 16 The maximum principal amount of additional debt to be 17 incurred during the 2005-2006 fiscal year, and thereafter until
1 the enactment of the 2006-2007 capital budget specifying the 2 maximum debt for the 2006-2007 fiscal year, for capital projects 3 specifically itemized in a capital budget pursuant to section 4 7(a)(4) of Article VIII of the Constitution of Pennsylvania, and 5 the fund to be charged with the repayment of such debt, shall, 6 with respect to each category of capital projects, be as 7 follows: 8 Category Amount Fund 9 (1) Public Improvement 10 Projects: 11 (i) Buildings and General Fund or 12 Structures $355,000,000 Special Fund as 13 applicable 14 (2) Transportation 15 Assistance Projects 150,000,000 General Fund 16 (3) Redevelopment 17 Assistance Projects 165,000,000 General Fund 18 (4) Flood Control 19 Projects 11,000,000 General Fund 20 Total $681,000,000 21 Section 3.
