AN ACT
1 Amending Title 23 (Domestic Relations) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, providing for penalties related to
3 custody orders.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 23 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 5315. Penalty.
9 (a) Offense defined.--An individual who knowingly or
10 intentionally fails to comply with an order of custody under
11 this subchapter commits a misdemeanor of the third degree.
12 (b) Application.--Subsection (a) applies whether the
13 offender is married, unmarried, separated or divorced.
14 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
