AN ACT
1 Amending the act of June 26, 1895 (P.L.350, No.258), entitled
2 "An act creating a Bureau of Health in the Department of
3 Public Safety in cities of the second class, defining the
4 powers and duties thereof and of the officers thereunder,
5 prescribing rules and regulations and laws respecting the
6 public health, and authorizing and imposing fines, penalties
7 and punishments for violations thereof," repealing provisions
8 relating to the powers of the Department of Public Safety,
9 the Director and officers thereof, the powers of the Bureau
10 of Health and the bringing of contagious or communicable
11 diseases into cities.
12 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
13 hereby enacts as follows:
14 Section 1. Sections 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 and 33 of
15 the act of June 26, 1895 (P.L.350, No.258), entitled "An act
16 creating a Bureau of Health in the Department of Public Safety
17 in cities of the second class, defining the powers and duties
18 thereof and of the officers thereunder, prescribing rules and
19 regulations and laws respecting the public health, and
20 authorizing and imposing fines, penalties and punishments for
21 violations thereof," are repealed.
22 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
