                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
     2     act relating to the public school system, including certain
     3     provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
     4     schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
     5     laws relating thereto," further providing for payments on
     6     account of standardized driver-education programs.

     7     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     8  hereby enacts as follows:
     9     Section 1.  Section 2504.1 of the act of March 10, 1949
    10  (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949,
    11  amended January 24, 1966 (1965 P.L.1506, No.528), is amended to
    12  read:
    13     Section 2504.1.  Payments on Account of Standardized Driver-
    14  Education Programs.--Every school district or joint school
    15  organization complying with the standardized driver-education
    16  program established by the department shall be paid, by the


     1  Commonwealth from the Motor License Fund, an amount to be
     2  determined by multiplying the number of pupils who have
     3  completed the high school standardized driver-education program
     4  conducted by any given school district or joint school
     5  organization by a basic figure of [thirty-five ($35)] three
     6  hundred fifty ($350) dollars per student.
     7     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
