AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for personal registration plates.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Section 1931 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
6 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
7 § 1931. Personal registration plates.
8 [The] (a) General rule.--Except as provided in subsection
9 (b), the fee for issuance of a personal registration plate shall
10 be $20 which shall be in addition to the annual registration
11 fee. Only one payment of the issuance fee shall be charged for
12 each personal registration issued or replaced.
13 (b) Exception.--The fee for issuance of a prisoner of war
14 plate under section 1342(d) (relating to veteran plates and
15 placard) shall be $1.
16 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
