                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
     2     Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, requiring minors who
     3     commit certain offenses on school property to be tried as
     4     adults.

     5     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     6  hereby enacts as follows:
     7     Section 1.  Title 42 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     8  Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
     9  § 9303.  Certain offenses committed on school property.
    10     Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, any
    11  juvenile 13 years of age or older who is charged with murder or
    12  attempted murder, regardless of the degree or grading, of any
    13  school student, school teacher, school administrator or other
    14  school employee on school property or at a school-related
    15  activity shall be tried as an adult.
    16     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
