AN ACT
1 Amending Title 23 (Domestic Relations) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, further providing for adoption.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Section 2312 of Title 23 of the Pennsylvania
6 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
7 § 2312. Who may adopt.
8 Any [individual] adult may become an adopting parent provided
9 that if through the adoption the adopted child would have more
10 than one parent, both parents must be married to each other.
11 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
