AN ACT
1 Amending Title 71 (State Government) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, providing for window for multiple
3 service election.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Notwithstanding the limitation contained in 71
7 Pa.C.S. § 5907(c), any active member of the State Employees'
8 Retirement System who was formerly an active member of the
9 Public School Employees' Retirement System and whose service
10 credit in the Public School Employees' Retirement System has not
11 been converted to service credited in another public pension
12 plan or retirement system in this Commonwealth may elect to
13 become a multiple service member on or before December 31, 2008.
14 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
