16 and regulations consistent with the provisions of this act,
17 establishing requirements of continuing education to be met by
18 individuals licensed under this act as a condition for renewal
19 of their licenses, except widows, executors or administrators
20 licensed under section 8. Such regulations shall include any
21 fees necessary for the board to carry out its responsibilities
    22 under this section.
23 (2) Beginning with the license period designated by
24 regulation, such licensees shall be required to attend six (6)

    26 license period.
27 (3) An individual applying for licensure in this

2 education requirement for biennial renewal upon request of a <--

4 BOARD THAT HE OR SHE WAS UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE REQUIREMENTS DUE
5 TO SERIOUS ILLNESS, MILITARY SERVICE OR OTHER DEMONSTRATED
6 HARDSHIP. The request shall be made in writing, with appropriate
7 documentation, and shall include a description of circumstances
8 sufficient to show why compliance is impossible. A waiver
9 request shall be evaluated by the board on a case-by-case basis.
