AN ACT
1 Making a supplemental appropriation to the Department of Public
2 Welfare for behavioral health services.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $13,493,000 is hereby appropriated to
6 the Department of Public Welfare for behavioral health services
7 for the fiscal year July 1, 1999, to June 30, 2000, to
8 supplement the appropriation under section 219 of the act of May
9 5, 1999 (P.L. , No.1A), known as the General Appropriation
10 Act of 1999. It is the intent of the General Assembly that all
11 available intergovernmental transfer funds, including prior year
12 carryover, augmenting this appropriation and the appropriation
13 under section 219 of the General Appropriation Act of 1999 be
14 spent prior to State funds from this appropriation.
15 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
