                                     AN ACT

     1  Repealing the act of December 29, 1972 (Sp.Sess., P.L.2024,
     2     No.5), entitled, as amended, "An act authorizing abatement of
     3     real estate taxes because of destruction or damage of
     4     property by flood, or the refund of the amount of such taxes
     5     by certain political subdivisions; authorizing assessment of
     6     properties retroactive to January 1, of the year of flood
     7     damage and authorizing reimbursement to certain political
     8     subdivisions for real estate taxes lost due to the flood of
     9     September 1971 and the Great June Flood of 1972."

    10     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    11  hereby enacts as follows:
    12     Section 1.  The act of December 29, 1972 (Sp.Sess., P.L.2024,
    13  No.5), entitled, as amended, "An act authorizing abatement of
    14  real estate taxes because of destruction or damage of property
    15  by flood, or the refund of the amount of such taxes by certain
    16  political subdivisions; authorizing assessment of properties
    17  retroactive to January 1, of the year of flood damage and
    18  authorizing reimbursement to certain political subdivisions for
    19  real estate taxes lost due to the flood of September 1971 and


     1  the Great June Flood of 1972," is repealed.
     2     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
