                                     AN ACT

     1  Making a supplemental appropriation to the Department of
     2     Agriculture for emergency food assistance.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  The sum of $1,500,000 is hereby appropriated to
     6  the Department of Agriculture for the fiscal year July 1, 1999,
     7  to June 30, 2000, for emergency food assistance development, to
     8  supplement the appropriation under section 208 of the act of May
     9  5, 1998 (P.L., No.1A), known as the General Appropriation Act of
    10  1999.
    11     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
