AN ACT
1 Authorizing the Department of General Services, with the
2 approval of the Governor, to sell and convey a tract of land
3 situate in the Township of Fallowfield, Washington County,
4 Pennsylvania.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Conveyance authorization.
8 The Department of General Services, with the approval of the
9 Governor, is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the
10 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to grant, sell and convey to
11 Calvary Bible Church for consideration of $7,620, the tract of
12 land described in section 2.
13 Section 2. Property description.
14 The property to be conveyed under section 1 consists of lots
15 1 through 4 in Block K of the Lowstuter and Hughes plan recorded
16 in Plan Book 3, page 118, in the Washington County Recorder's
17 office. According to the deed recorded in Book 1143, page 242,
18 the lots have an aggregate frontage on the westerly side of
1 Wingett Avenue of 210.3 feet and extend 110 feet to an alley,
2 lots 2, 3 and 4 having a uniform width of 35 feet and lot 1
3 being bounded by Shannon Avenue and having a frontage on the
4 alley of 10.68 feet.
5 Section 3. Easements, etc.
6 The conveyance shall be made under and subject to all
7 easements, servitudes and rights of others, including, but not
8 confined to, streets, roadways and rights of any telephone,
9 telegraph, water, electric, sewer, gas or pipeline companies, as
10 well as under and subject to any interest, estates or tenancies
11 vested in third persons, whether or not appearing of record, for
12 any portion of the land or improvements erected thereon.
13 Section 4. Deposits of proceeds.
14 The proceeds of this sale shall be paid into the State
15 Treasury and deposited in the General Fund.
16 Section 5. Approval and execution of deed.
17 The deed of conveyance shall be approved as provided by law
18 and shall be executed by the Secretary of General Services in
19 the name of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
20 Section 6. Costs and fees.
21 Costs and fees incidental to the conveyance shall be borne by
22 the grantee.
23 Section 7. Effective date.
24 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
