AN ACT
1 Designating a certain bridge on SR 0054 over the North Branch of
2 the Susquehanna River connecting Riverside, Northumberland
3 County and Danville and Mahoning Townships, Montour County,
4 as the Danville-Riverside Bridge; AND DESIGNATING A PORTION <--
5 OF US ROUTE 119 IN INDIANA COUNTY AS THE PATRICK J. STAPLETON
6 HIGHWAY.
7 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
8 hereby enacts as follows:
9 Section 1. Danville-Riverside Bridge.
10 (a) Bridge designation.--The bridge over the North Branch of
11 the Susquehanna River which carries SR 0054 from Riverside,
12 Northumberland County, through Mahoning Township, Montour
13 County, and connecting with Danville, Montour County, is hereby
14 designated and shall be known as the Danville-Riverside Bridge.
15 (b) Erection of appropriate signs.--The Department of
16 Transportation shall erect and maintain signs which shall
17 display the name of Danville-Riverside Bridge at each end of the
18 bridge so designated in subsection (a).
19 SECTION 2. PATRICK J. STAPLETON HIGHWAY. <--
1 (A) DESIGNATION.--THE PORTION OF US ROUTE 119 IN INDIANA
2 COUNTY BETWEEN US ROUTE 422 AND US ROUTE 22 IS HEREBY DESIGNATED
3 AS THE PATRICK J. STAPLETON HIGHWAY.
4 (B) SIGNS.--THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SHALL ERECT AND
5 MAINTAIN SIGNS WHICH SHALL DISPLAY THE NAME OF PATRICK J.
6 STAPLETON HIGHWAY AT REASONABLE INTERVALS ALONG THE PORTION OF
7 US ROUTE 119 SO DESIGNATED IN SUBSECTION (A).
8 Section 2 3. Effective date. <--
9 This act shall take effect immediately.
