AN ACT
1 Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
2 act relating to the public school system, including certain
3 provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
4 schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
5 laws relating thereto," further providing for instructional
6 payments.
7 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
8 hereby enacts as follows:
9 Section 1. Section 2502(e) of the act of March 10, 1949
10 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the Public School Code of 1949,
11 amended June 7, 1993, (P.L.49, No.16), is amended and the
12 section is amended by adding a subsection to read:
13 Section 2502. Payments on Account of Instruction.--* * *
14 (e) For no school year [from 1966-1967 through 1990-1991]
15 shall any district receive less than an amount obtained by
16 multiplying the minimum subsidy by the weighted average daily
17 membership for the district nor less than the amount it received
18 in the prior school year.
19 (f) No school district shall receive less payment on account
1 of instruction - per pupil than it received in the prior school
2 year.

4 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
