| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Making an appropriation to the Whitaker Center for Science and |
2 | the Arts in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, for operating expenses. |
3 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
4 | hereby enacts as follows: |
5 | Section 1. The sum of $125,000 $63,000 is hereby | <-- |
6 | appropriated to the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts in |
7 | Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, for the fiscal year July 1, 2009, to |
8 | June 30, 2010, for operating expenses, including maintenance and |
9 | the purchase of apparatus, supplies and equipment. |
10 | Section 2. Payment to the Whitaker Center for Science and |
11 | the Arts on account of the appropriation provided in section 1 |
12 | shall be made quarterly by the Executive Director of the |
13 | Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. |
14 | Section 3. The Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts |
15 | shall provide full, complete and accurate information as may be |
16 | required by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission or |
17 | the chairman or the minority chairman of the Appropriations |
18 | Committee of the Senate or the chairman or the minority chairman |

1 | of the Appropriations Committee of the House of Representatives. |
2 | Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009, or | <-- |
