AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Department of Community and
2 Economic Development for housing and redevelopment assistance
3 grants.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of $2,075,000, or as much thereof as may
7 be necessary, is hereby appropriated to the Department of
8 Community and Economic Development for the fiscal year July 1,
9 1999, to June 30, 2000, for grants for housing and redevelopment
10 assistance as authorized by the act of May 20, 1949 (P.L.1633,
11 No.493), known as the Housing and Redevelopment Assistance Law.
12 No more than 20% of the amount herein appropriated shall be
13 allocated or granted to any one political subdivision. This
14 appropriation shall be in addition to any other amounts
15 appropriated for the same or similar purposes for the fiscal
16 year July 1, 1999, to June 30, 2000.
17 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
