AN ACT
1 Making a supplemental appropriation to the Department of Public
2 Welfare for preventive health care services for women.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $15,000,000 is hereby appropriated to
6 the Department of Public Welfare for preventive health care
7 services for uninsured or underinsured low-income women for the
8 fiscal year July 1, 1999, to June 30, 2000, to supplement the
9 appropriation under section 219 of the act of May 5, 1999 (P.L.
10 , No.1A), known as the General Appropriation Act of 1999.
11 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
