AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Department of Health for diabetes
2 programs for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2003.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Appropriation.
6 The sum of $17,000 is hereby appropriated to the Department
7 of Health for diabetes programs for the fiscal year beginning
8 July 1, 2003.
9 Section 2. Construction.
10 The sum appropriated in section 1 shall be construed as a
11 supplement to the State appropriation to the Department of
12 Health for diabetes programs set forth in section 215 of the act
13 of March 20, 2003 (P.L. , No.1A), known as the General
14 Appropriation Act of 2003.
1 Section 3. Effective date.
2 This act shall take effect July 1, 2003, or immediately,
3 whichever is later.
