AN ACT
Amending Title 74 (Transportation) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in turnpike, providing for gas
transmission line right-of-way.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Title 74 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
ยง 8117.1. Gas transmission line right-of-way.
(a) Authority.--The commission shall have the authority to
designate, acquire or install rights-of-way for the purposes of
utilization for gas transmission lines.
(b) Regulations.--The commission shall promulgate the rules
and regulations necessary to carry out the provisions of this
section.
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
