AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for prohibitions for certain vehicles
3 traveling on limited access highways.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 3315. Prohibitions for certain vehicles traveling on limited
9 access highways.
10 (a) General rule.--It shall be unlawful for buses and trucks
11 to travel within 300 feet of another such vehicle on any limited
12 access highway. This prohibition does not prevent a bus or truck
13 from overtaking and passing any vehicle or combination of
14 vehicles.
15 (b) Penalty.--A person who violates this section commits a
16 misdemeanor of the third degree.
17 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
