AN ACT
1 To provide an additional appropriation from the General Fund to
2 the Department of Health for the fiscal year July 1, 1989, to
3 June 30, 1990, for the Special Supplemental Food Service
4 Programs for Women, Infants and Children.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. The sum of $4,500,000 is hereby appropriated to
8 the Department of Health for the Special Supplemental Food
9 Service Program for Women, Infants and Children to provide iron
10 and protein-rich food to low-income pregnant women, lactating
11 mothers, and infants and children.
12 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
