subdivision or board, department, commission or school district
of the Commonwealth and any person employing 20 or more persons
within this Commonwealth. The term does not include religious,
fraternal, charitable or sectarian corporations or associations,
except corporations or associations supported, in whole or in
part, by governmental appropriations. The term with respect to
discriminatory practices based on race, color, age, sex,
national origin or non-job-related handicap or disability,
includes religious, fraternal, charitable and sectarian
corporations and associations employing 20 or more persons
within this Commonwealth.
"Parent." A biological mother or father of a child, a person
who has legal custody of a child, a person who acts as a
guardian of a child or a person married or in a domestic
partnership with a person listed above.
"School-related activity." An activity or meeting related to
a child's participation in an extracurricular activity or
educational meeting that may include, but shall not be limited
to:
(1) Parent-teacher conferences.
(2) Individualized Education Program meetings.
(3) Dropout prevention.
(4) Attendance, truancy or disciplinary issues.
(5) Concerts.
(6) Plays.
(7) Rehearsals.
(8) Sporting events.
"Student with a disability." As defined under section 1301-A
of the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the
Public School Code of 1949.
