AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further defining the term "street rod."
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The definition of "street rod" in section 102 of
6 Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to
7 read:
8 § 102. Definitions.
9 Subject to additional definitions contained in subsequent
10 provisions of this title which are applicable to specific
11 provisions of this title, the following words and phrases when
12 used in this title shall have, unless the context clearly
13 indicates otherwise, the meanings given to them in this section:

15 "Street rod." A motor vehicle, [but not] or a reproduction
16 thereof, with a model year of 1948 or older which has been
17 materially altered or modified by the removal, addition or
1 substitution of essential parts and with a gross weight or
2 registered gross weight of not more than 9,000 pounds.

4 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
