                                     AN ACT

     1  Authorizing and directing the Department of General Services,
     2     with the approval of the Governor and the Department of
     3     Military and Veterans Affairs, to grant and convey certain
     4     land situate in East Hanover Township, Dauphin County, to Dr.
     5     Albert J. Zanetti and Mrs. Jeana M. Zanetti, his wife, in
     6     consideration for the grant and conveyance by Dr. Albert J.
     7     Zanetti and Mrs. Jeana M. Zanetti, his wife, to the
     8     Department of General Services and the Department of Military
     9     and Veterans Affairs of certain land situate in East and West
    10     Hanover Townships, Dauphin County.

    11     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
    12  hereby enacts as follows:
    13  Section 1.  Conveyance in East Hanover Township, Dauphin County.
    14     (a)  Authorization.--The Department of General Services, with
    15  the approval of the Governor and the Department of Military and
    16  Veterans Affairs, is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of
    17  the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to grant and convey to Dr.
    18  Albert J. Zanetti and Mrs. Jeana M. Zanetti, his wife, certain
    19  land described in subsection (b) in consideration for the
    20  conveyance of certain land authorized by section 2.
    21     (b)  Property description.--The property to be conveyed
    22  pursuant to this section consists of approximately 8.00 acres

     1  bounded and more particularly described as follows:
     2     ALL that certain piece, parcel or lot of land situate on the
     3  south slope of the Blue Mountain in East Hanover Township,
     4  Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and being more fully bound and
     5  described as follows:
     6     BEGINNING at a rebar in a stone pile at the southwest corner
     7  of lands of The Commonwealth Of Pennsylvania; Fort Indiantown
     8  Gap "Area E-1"; said point being the southeast corner of Tract 1
     9  of lands now or formerly Albert J. & Jeana M. Zanetti; thence
    10  along the eastern line of said lands of Zanetti North 15 degrees
    11  10 minutes 55 seconds West a distance of 471.14 feet to a point;
    12  thence extending through said lands of The Commonwealth North 74
    13  degrees 14 minutes 57 seconds East a distance of 767.12 feet to
    14  a point; thence continuing through same South 18 degrees 24
    15  minutes 18 seconds East a distance of 423.27 feet to a point on
    16  the southern line of said Commonwealth lands, said point being
    17  the northeast corner of Tract 2 of said lands of Zanetti; thence
    18  along said line South 70 degrees 45 minutes 24 seconds West a
    19  distance of 792.88 feet to a rebar in a stone pile, the place of
    20  BEGINNING.
    21     Containing 8.000 acres.
    22     (c)  Easements.--The conveyance shall be made under and
    23  subject to all lawful and enforceable easements, servitudes and
    24  rights of others, including streets, roadways and rights of any
    25  telephone, telegraph, water, electric, gas or pipeline company,
    26  and under and subject to any lawful and enforceable estates or
    27  tenancies vested in third persons appearing of record, for any
    28  portion of the land or improvements erected on the land.
    29     (d)  Execution.--The deed of conveyance shall be by special
    30  warranty deed and shall be executed by the Secretary of General

     1  Services in the name of the Commonwealth.
     2     (e)  Costs and fees.--Costs and fees incidental to this
     3  conveyance shall be borne by the grantee.
     4  Section 2.  Conveyance in East and West Hanover Townships,
     5             Dauphin County.
     6     (a)  Authorization.--The Department of General Services, with
     7  the approval of the Governor and the Department of Military and
     8  Veterans Affairs, is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of
     9  the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to accept from Dr. Albert J.
    10  Zanetti and Mrs. Jeana M. Zanetti, his wife, certain land
    11  described in subsection (b) in consideration for the conveyance
    12  of certain land authorized by section 1.
    13     (b)  Property description.--The property to be conveyed
    14  pursuant to this section consists of approximately 9.860 acres
    15  bounded and more particularly described as follows:
    16     ALL that certain piece, parcel or lot of land situate on the
    17  south slope of the Blue Mountain on the border of East and West
    18  Hanover Townships, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and being more
    19  fully bound and described as follows:
    20     BEGINNING at a steel bar in a stone pile on the southern line
    21  of lands now or formerly E. & C. B. Grubb; said point being the
    22  northeast corner of lands now or formerly Bruce E. & Deborah Ann
    23  Hetrick; thence along said lands of Grubb North 70 degrees 52
    24  minutes 47 seconds East a distance of 341.78 feet to a point on
    25  the western line of lands of The Commonwealth Of Pennsylvania;
    26  Fort Indiantown Gap "Area E-1"; thence along said line South 15
    27  degrees 10 minutes 55 seconds East a distance of 1264.11 feet to
    28  a point; thence extending through lands of Albert J. & Jeana M.
    29  Zanetti, the grantors, South 75 degrees 01 minutes 11 seconds
    30  West a distance of 345.34 feet to a point on the eastern line of

     1  said lands of Hetrick; thence along said line North 14 degrees
     2  58 minutes 49 seconds West a distance of 1239.43 feet to a steel
     3  bar in a stone pile, the place of BEGINNING.
     4     CONTAINING 9.860 acres and being the larger portion of Tract
     5  1 of Deed Book 1043, page 122; wherein Paul S. Palanzo granted
     6  and conveyed two tracts of property unto Albert J. & Jeana M.
     7  Zanetti, the grantors herein.
     8     (c)  Easements.--The conveyance shall be made under and
     9  subject to all lawful and enforceable easements, servitudes and
    10  rights of others, including streets, roadways and rights of any
    11  telephone, telegraph, water, electric, gas or pipeline company,
    12  and under and subject to any lawful and enforceable estates or
    13  tenancies vested in third persons appearing of record, for any
    14  portion of the land or improvements erected on the land.
    15     (d)  Execution.--The deed of conveyance shall be by special
    16  warranty deed and shall be accepted by the Secretary of General
    17  Services in the name of the Commonwealth.
    18     (e)  Costs and fees.--Costs and fees incidental to this
    19  conveyance shall be borne by the grantee as named in section 1.
    20  Section 3.  Authorization expiration.
    21     If the conveyances authorized herein are not completed in
    22  accordance with an agreement of sale to be executed with the
    23  Department of General Services, this authorization shall expire
    24  within one year of the effective date of this act.
    25  Section 4.  Effective date.
    26     This act shall take effect immediately.
