AS AMENDED ON THIRD CONSIDERATION, IN SENATE, JUNE 30, 1990
AN ACT
1 Designating Interstate Route 90 as the AMVETS Memorial Highway;
2 and designating various portions of U.S. Route 15.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Designation of Interstate Route 90.
6 The entire portion of Interstate Route 90 in this
7 Commonwealth is hereby designated and shall be known as the
8 AMVETS Memorial Highway.
9 Section 2. Signs.
10 The Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain
11 appropriate signs designating the entire portion of Interstate
12 Route 90 in this Commonwealth as the AMVETS Memorial Highway.
13 Section 3. Designation of U.S. Route 15.
14 U.S. Route 15 from the Maryland State line to the New York <--
15 State line shall be divided into the following segments:
1 (1) U.S. Route 15 extending from the Maryland State line
2 to Selinsgrove is hereby designated and shall be known as the
3 Marine Corps League Memorial Highway.
4 U.S. ROUTE 15 FROM THE MARYLAND STATE LINE TO THE NEW YORK <--
5 STATE LINE IS HEREBY DESIGNATED AND SHALL BE KNOWN AS THE MARINE
6 CORPS LEAGUE MEMORIAL HIGHWAY, SUBJECT TO FURTHER DESIGNATIONS
7 AS FOLLOWS:
8 (2) (1) U.S. Route 15 extending from Selinsgrove to <--
9 Sunbury is hereby designated and shall be known as the
10 Charles Attig, Jr., Memorial Highway.
11 (3) Subject to further designation as set forth in <--
12 paragraphs (5) and (6), U.S. Route 15 extending from
13 (2) U.S. ROUTE 15 EXTENDING FROM Williamsport to the New <--
14 York State line is hereby designated and shall be known as
15 the Appalachian Thruway.
16 (4) (3) U.S. Route 15 By-Pass in Mansfield Borough is <--
17 hereby designated and shall be known as the Harold G. Strait
18 Memorial Highway.
19 (5) (4) That portion of U.S. 15 in Old Lycoming <--
20 Township, Lycoming County is hereby designated and shall be
21 known as the Legani Hanne Trail.
22 (5) U.S. ROUTE 15 EXTENDING FROM THE MARYLAND STATE LINE <--
23 IN ADAMS COUNTY TO HARRISBURG IS HEREBY DESIGNATED AS THE
24 BLUE AND GRAY HIGHWAY.
25 Section 4. Repeal.
26 All acts and parts of acts are repealed insofar as they are
27 inconsistent with this act.
28 Section 5. Effective date.
29 This act shall take effect immediately.
