AN ACT
1 Redesignating the Clarion River Bridge located on Route 322 in
2 Clarion County as the Frank James Walls Memorial Bridge.
3 The General Assembly finds and declares as follows:
4 (1) Frank James Walls of Hawthorn, Pennsylvania, served
5 his country bravely in Operation Desert Storm.
6 (2) Mr. Walls was killed in a scud missile attack in
7 Saudi Arabia on February 25, 1991.
8 (3) The courage and sacrifice demonstrated by Mr. Walls
9 should not go unrecognized.
10 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
11 hereby enacts as follows:
12 Section 1. Bridge designation.
13 The Clarion River Bridge, which is located on Route 322 in
14 Clarion County, is hereby redesignated and shall be known as the
15 Frank James Walls Memorial Bridge.
16 Section 2. Markers.
1 The Department of Transportation shall erect suitable markers
2 to implement this act.
3 Section 3. Effective date.
4 This act shall take effect immediately.
