AN ACT
1 Amending Title 3 (Agriculture) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for aquacultural development
3 applicability.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 4203 of Title 3 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a definition to read:
8 § 4203. Definitions.
9 The following words and phrases when used in this chapter
10 shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
11 context clearly indicates otherwise:

13 "Pet store." A commercial outlet engaged in the retail sale
14 of pets and related products to the public.

16 Section 2. Title 3 is amended by adding a section to read:
17 § 4204. Applicability.
18 This chapter does not apply to a pet store making a purely
1 retail sale or offer for sale of species of fish legally
2 approved for sale in this Commonwealth.
3 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
