AN ACT
1 Amending Title 51 (Military Affairs) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, further providing for veterans'
3 preferences for spouses.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 7108 of Title 51 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 7108. Preference of spouses.
9 The same preferential rating given to soldiers under the
10 provisions of this chapter shall be extended to include the
11 following:
12 (1) Unmarried spouses of deceased [or] soldiers.
13 (2) Spouses of disabled soldiers.
14 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
