AN ACT

Amending the act of June 30, 2011 (P.L.81, No.18), entitled "An

act providing for the establishment of a searchable budget

database-driven Internet website detailing certain

information concerning taxpayer expenditures and

investments," further providing for definitions.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1. The definition of "Commonwealth agency" in section

2 of the act of June 30, 2011 (P.L.81, No.18), known as the

Pennsylvania Web Accountability and Transparency (PennWATCH)

Act, is amended and the section is amended by adding a

definition to read:

Section 2.  Definitions.

"Commonwealth agency."  Any office, department, authority,

board, multistate agency or commission of the executive branch,

an independent agency, a State-related institution or a State-

affiliated entity. The term includes:

(1)  The Governor's Office.

(2)  The Office of Attorney General.

(3)  The Department of the Auditor General.

(4)  The Treasury Department.

(5)  An organization established by the Constitution of

Pennsylvania, a statute or an executive order which performs

or is intended to perform an essential government function.

(6)  A judicial agency or legislative agency.

"State-related institution."  Any of the following:

(1)  Temple University.

(2)  The University of Pittsburgh.

(3)  The Pennsylvania State University.

(4)  Lincoln University.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
