        AS REPORTED FROM COMMITTEE ON LOCAL GOVERNMENT, HOUSE OF
           REPRESENTATIVES, AS AMENDED, MARCH 9, 1998

                                     AN ACT

     1  Repealing certain acts as being obsolete AN OBSOLETE ACT          <--
     2  RELATING TO RECORDER OF DEEDS FEES IN CERTAIN COUNTIES.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  The following acts are ACT IS repealed:            <--
     6     Act of March 13, 1839 (P.L.92, No.44), entitled "A supplement  <--
     7  to an act entitled 'An act to authorize the appointment of
     8  commissioners to take the acknowledgment of deeds and
     9  instruments of writing under seal,' approved on the fourteenth
    10  day of April, one thousand eight hundred and twenty-eight."
    11     Act of May 15, 1945 (P.L.558, No.219), entitled "An act
    12  fixing the fees of the recorder of deeds in counties of the
    13  fifth class."
    14     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
