AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the prohibition on emission
3 inspection program expenditures.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 4706(g) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph to read:
8 § 4706. Prohibition on expenditures for emission inspection
9 program.

11 (g) Alternative enhanced emission inspection program.--
12 Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (f), the department
13 shall comply with all of the following requirements:

15 (5) This subsection shall expire December 31, 2006.

17 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
