AN ACT
1 Amending Title 24 (Education) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for retirement definitions.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The definition of "superannuation or normal
6 retirement age" in section 8102 of Title 24 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes, amended May 17, 2001 (P.L.26, No.9), is
8 amended to read:
9 § 8102. Definitions.
10 The following words and phrases when used in this part shall
11 have, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the
12 meanings given to them in this section:

14 "Superannuation or normal retirement age."
15 Class of service Age
1 T-A [62] 60 or any age upon accrual
2 of 35 eligibility points
3 T-B [62] 60
4 T-C and T-D [62 or age] 60 provided the
5 member has at least 30
6 eligibility points or
7 any age upon accrual of
8 35 eligibility points

10 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
