           SCHRODER, HUTCHINSON, ADOLPH, ORIE, MAYERNIK, ARGALL,
           SERAFINI AND SEYFERT, FEBRUARY 10, 1998

        REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON LOCAL GOVERNMENT, FEBRUARY 10, 1998

                                     AN ACT

     1  Repealing certain acts as being obsolete.

     2     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     3  hereby enacts as follows:
     4     Section 1.  The following acts are repealed:
     5     Act of May 1, 1909 (P.L.306, No.198), entitled "An act to
     6  authorize municipalities to unite in the construction of a
     7  sewage system, and to permit municipalities to form corporations
     8  for the purpose of constructing a sewage system."
     9     Act of June 2, 1937 (P.L.1181, No.296), entitled "An act
    10  permitting boroughs and townships of the first class engaged in
    11  the construction of sewers and sewer systems to change, under
    12  certain conditions, the locations of the sewers and sewer system
    13  by amending ordinances; and providing that abutting property
    14  owners shall be liable in such cases."
    15     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
