AN ACT

Making an appropriation to the Department of Public Welfare for

rape crisis programs for the remainder of the fiscal year

ending June 30, 2012.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  The sum of $5,000,000 is hereby appropriated to

the Department of Public Welfare for grants to rape crisis

centers for the provision of education and prevention programs

on rape and sexual assaults for the remainder of the fiscal year

ending June 30, 2012.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
