AN ACT 1 Amending the act of May 6, 1997 (P.L. , No.4A), entitled "An 2 act to provide from the General Fund for the expenses of the 3 Executive, Legislative and Judicial Departments of the 4 Commonwealth, the public debt and for the public schools for 5 the fiscal year July 1, 1997, to June 30, 1998, for certain 6 institutions and organizations, and for the payment of bills 7 incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year 8 ending June 30, 1997; to provide appropriations from the 9 State Lottery Fund, the Energy Conservation and Assistance 10 Fund, the Hazardous Material Response Fund, The State Stores 11 Fund, the Milk Marketing Fund, the Home Investment Trust 12 Fund, the Emergency Medical Services Operating Fund, the Ben 13 Franklin/IRC Partnership Fund, the Tuition Payment Fund, the 14 Banking Department Fund and the Firearm Ownership Fund to the 15 Executive Department; to provide appropriations from the 16 Judicial Computer System Augmentation Account to the Judicial 17 Department; to provide appropriations from the Motor License 18 Fund for the fiscal year July 1, 1997, to June 30, 1998, for 19 the proper operation of the several departments of the 20 Commonwealth and the Pennsylvania State Police authorized to 21 spend Motor License Fund moneys; to provide for the 22 appropriation of Federal funds to the Executive and Judicial 23 Departments of the Commonwealth and for the establishment of 24 restricted receipt accounts for the fiscal year July 1, 1997, 25 to June 30, 1998, and for the payment of bills remaining 26 unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 1997; 27 and to provide for the additional appropriation of State and 28 Federal funds for the Executive and Judicial Departments of 29 the Commonwealth for the fiscal year July 1, 1996, to June 30 30, 1997, and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining 31 unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 1996," 32 increasing and providing certain additional Federal 33 appropriations; and increasing, decreasing and providing
1 certain additional State appropriations. 2 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 3 hereby enacts as follows: 4 Section 1. As much as relates to the Federal appropriation 5 for local law enforcement in section 202 of the act of May 6, 6 1997 (P.L. , No.4A), known as the General Appropriation Act of 7 1997, is amended to read: 8 Section 202.
