        REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON TRANSPORTATION, JANUARY 28, 2002

                                     AN ACT

     1  Designating a portion of Pennsylvania Traffic Route 33 Extension
     2     in Northampton County as the General Anthony Clement
     3     McAuliffe 101st Airborne Memorial Highway.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6  Section 1.  General Anthony Clement McAuliffe 101st Airborne
     7                 Memorial Highway.
     8     (a)  Designation.--The section of Pennsylvania Traffic Route
     9  33 Extension in Northampton County from United States Traffic
    10  Route 22 to Interstate Highway Route I-78 is hereby designated
    11  the General Anthony Clement McAuliffe 101st Airborne Memorial
    12  Highway.
    13     (b)  Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
    14  maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the highway to
    15  traffic in both directions on the highway.


     1  Section 2.  Effective date.
     2     This act shall take effect immediately.
