AN ACT

Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

Statutes, providing for issuance of National Rifle

Association registration plates.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:

§ 1366.  National Rifle Association plate.

Upon application of any person, accompanied by a fee of $20

which shall be in addition to the annual registration fee, the

department shall issue to the person a special National Rifle

Association registration plate. Across the top of the plate

shall be inscribed Pennsylvania. Across the bottom of the plate

shall be inscribed National Rifle Association. To the left of

the plate number shall be inscribed the logo of the National

Rifle Association, inset into a figure representing the physical

shape of Pennsylvania. The special registration plate may be

used only on a passenger car or truck with a registered gross

weight of not more than 10,000 pounds.

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 120 days.
